Servoy User Groups – Pettrie de Bondt
Pettrie de Bondt talks about creating more user groups
Just a really short talk, but I do like to see all of you. And what was it, on the day, when did you decide to create a set of a user group for the Netherlands? So I want to ask you some questions. Are there some other user groups in the rest of the world? Are they active? Are they maintaining the presence and how are they doing this? We started in 2008 for 19. Yeah. Just before public. It’s just correct. Anyway, the nice thing is that I immediately connected with a lot of service companies because he invited me and wanted to do different companies and at a company, there is a presentation of the solution or a specific business things. So I really like it and we were at a company a couple of times. But then we had COVID, so it was a bit silent. Oh, I’m sorry. Yeah. Yeah. So that was really good. And I wanted to maybe restart it again because like today here, I learned a lot. It’s a lot of nice conversations with a lot of you guys and I really learned a lot from the technical topics and also a lot of other topics. So it’s best to join together again and help each other out because there’s so much knowledge in this room. It’s incredible. And there’s so many nice things you can learn from each other like we do today. So I want to see if you can have more often like once every quarter, something like it and at least from my perspective starting a blend Netherlands, maybe there are some other user groups who have a good structure or a good way to keep everybody connected because that’s always difficult. Everybody is busy. Everybody has to do their business or a really good heart. And then you’ve got all these nice meetings. Yes. We have a currency in the group. We founded in 2011 as you can see. Yeah. It’s really great. It’s still going strong. So here is our chat, man. Ah. And we are now mostly having a quarterly meeting. And as I said, I’ve learned it very well. So I work. Okay. Yeah. So I’m just going to go for all the communication you used to serve it for. Yes. Okay. Really nice. Really good to hear. And do we have one location or do we have different companies? Actually we used to meet on a very important, before college. And then in college we have some, thanks to Robert and this group we have some, I’m going to be doing it off. We have meetings, meeting with someone. Okay. Because John speaking. Yeah. Yeah. Nice. Yeah. Nice. It’s easier. Yeah. Good to hear. And how we can do that everybody meets attendance and making sure that everybody does some presentation or presents and stuff. Okay. There’s another story. Yeah. It’s sometimes hard to work. Sometimes everybody is an idea of job. It’s very, very, very, very, very difficult. I think we have to get together for the team meeting and our someone usually gets really in the club because if you are talking. Yeah. Thank you. Thank you. Good to hear. Okay. Okay. I’m going to hear. We’re going to look here on the forum and see if you have your circuit is and what we can use. And maybe restart that. It will disturb the use of the unit lens. So I’ll look at the handler if you go to help it. Yeah. But that will not do all the work. Yeah. We’re all busy. And so if everybody chips in, we can manage it. Yeah. That’s for sure. Good idea. Good idea. Maybe there are some other ideas or people who think that you are. Some ideas and I’ve talked to Janal and a lot of others who have to do something in self-waken online every quarter. Yeah. So yeah. Yeah. But we have some ideas to get more abroad. So not physically but just online. Yeah. I find that the online really hard really easy to skip. Okay. Then everything is busy and I get a lot of requests and questions from partners, from customers, from college. Yeah. That’s just a plan issue. I know. I have to keep working on that. Yeah. Yeah. It’s also good to do that. But I really lost to see all the different companies, see how they work. And then you get more face to face. You get to know the people. You have some bigger shots of the watch and things like that. So that’s always nice. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That’s easy to do. Yeah. If you want to do it more with each other. Yeah. No. No. It’s so much. Yeah. I know. That’s good. It’s also good idea to have more people together because I do have always a critical tool to watch the survey. But we use it every day. We like the tool. A lot of customers run it which already show. So yeah, we want to grow and know all your nice solutions and best practices. And also some business ideas and creative ideas. So there’s a lot to learn. Yeah. Thank you. It was a
